Currow Cycling Club Leisure Cycle – May 31st 2009

Currow Cycling Club are organising their first leisure cycle of the 2009 cycling season. Cyclists wishing to participate in this event should sign on the Currow Community Centre from 9.15 a.m. The cycle event commences at 10.00 a.m., leaving Currow and heads towards Castleisland before taking the N21 towards Tralee. On approaching the outskirts of Tralee, the event turns left for  Ballymullen and then joins the N70 towards Castlemaine. A break and refreshments will be provided in Castlemaine. The event resumes along the N70 through Milltown and Killorglin before taking the N72 for Killarney. The final leg of the event takes the cyclists from Killarney to Farranfore on the N22 before returning to the Community Centre in Currow, where showers and refreshments will be provided. Two distances are available, 100kms and 60 kms. Support vehicles will accompany the group.
