Day Care Centre

Our cycling season is almost over except for the County TT champs next Thursday night , Sliabh Luachra Tour next Saturday (Aug 31st) and the annual Day Care Centre Cycle. Spins continue Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday as usual until the club changes the mid week spin. Here are the details for the Day Care Cycle;

Don’t Put Away the Bike

The annual Day Care Centre cycle takes place on September 8^th from the Castleisland Rugby club. Registration starts at 9.00 and closes at 9.45 with the roll out from 10 am. There is a choice of doing 10, 30 or 50 miles in a route that you can opt for your distance as you go along. This is to encourage and emphasise that the day is for all abilities. It will not be treated like a race – the club has participated and hosted the races for the year and this event is leisure only. If it is a race you want you are in the wrong place!  Minimum sponsorship/entry fee is 20 euro with family deals also available to encourage under 18’s to take part as long as they are accompanied with an adult.

So all in all we are looking forward to seeing you on the day whether it’s a case of keeping your cycling going or if you will have to dust the bike down and pump the tyres to get on the road for the worthy and local cause where all proceeds will go to the Castleisland Day Care Centre.
