Weekly update Week 17 and Upcoming Meeting

An important phase of the year is coming up with the local events such as the County Leagues and Ring of Kerry cycle coming up.

The county league starts this Thursday with the first round of the TT League starting at Ballycarthy. This event is suitable for all as it is a race against the clock. The following week May 16th sees the Road Race league start in Currow. The format is a handicap and is generous to beginners

A Club Competition licence is required and can be got by calling Cycling Ireland and issued on the spot.

A Ring of Kerry training schedule is being suggested from next week on with Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday spins all from Currow – 7pm sharp Midweek and 10am on a Sunday.

This needs to be discussed at the meeting in the hall on Monday night next at 9pm along with the stewarding of the County League which is on the Drumm Cup circuit.
