13 kicked off 13 in style

The first night time spin went very well tonight with 13 members out doing 5 laps of the Castleisland bypass in a nice comfortable pace. The members were Kieran O’Connor, Mark Collins, Paudie McCarthy, John  Breen, Steve Key, Eamonn Collier, Denise Geaney, Joe Geaney, John Riordan, Pat O’Shea, Tom Kenny, Garreth Lawless and Hugh McSweeney. Dont worry we wont be naming people all year but it just illustrates that we can cycle enjoyably and safely as a club.

Everybody left tonight with an appetite for more and we are encouraging a big turn out again Sunday where everybody’s pace will be accommodated for with three options. Start time is 10 am from Currow and its towards Cordal and Castleisland to start with where the first group will peel off. The details are below in another article.

On the Wednesday nights, we urge that this pace be kept for the month to give people a chance to get back into the swing of things.

Please contact club members past, present and future to come along Sunday where we are expecting 20 to turn out. This will be the target for Sundays and Wednesdays from now on.

Please feel free to leave comments on this website and we will get back to you when they are read.
