… Thursday 17th May. Registration and Sign-On in Killorglin Sports & Leisure Centre from 6:30pm to 7:00 pm. Riders will depart the Killorglin Sports and Leisure Centre at 7:00pm and proceed to Gormon’s Cross. The …races will begin with youth races for U12 category on a small circuit on Doherty’s Bohereen at 7:05pm. The remaining youth riders and the main race will depart the start/finish area from 7:15pm. All riders will finish on the same lap as the first rider home.
Racing is on a circuit 6.2 miles long. The open race is on a handicap basis with three groups on the road before the scratch group. They are novice racers followed 1minute later by A4 riders, then 2 minutes later the A3 riders and finally the scratch group a further 2 minutes back.
